APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Taidehalli Häme open call for the year 2027, deadline: 30.9.2025.
Apply for the exhibition time with a free-form application, which includes an exhibition theme, CV and 5-10 photos of your recent works. One may mention in the application the preferred date and any other exhibition plans. Submit the application via email or by post. Send the email-application as a single pdf-file. Write down in the subject field: Open call

The exhibition period is 4 weeks, which includes installing, opening and deinstalling of the said exhibition. The runtime of the exhibition itself is around 3 weeks.
The exhibition fee is 700 €, or 500 € for members of Ars-Häme ry. The sales commission for sold artwork is 30%.
In addition to the use of the above-mentioned space and equipment, the exhibition fee includes exhibition supervision, installation assistance, exhibition deinstallation assistance, invitations and posters, exhibition information-, marketing- and guidance service, catering at the opening. The costs of printing and sending the invitations by post are the responsibility of the artist, but marketing can also be done entirely via social media and email by Ars-Häme ry.
The exhibitions are selected by a 5-member exhibition committee elected by Ars-Häme ry’s annual meeting.
Once selected, the artist undertakes not to hold a solo exhibition with the same content in Hämeenlinna for 12 months before and during the exhibition.

Taidehalli Häme is located next to the market square at the center of Hämeenlinna (Hallituskatu 14, 13100 Hämeenlinna). The gallery floor area is about 70 m2. Three walls are white painted floor chipboard and two walls are white painted concrete. The floor is made of blue plastic. The space offers high-quality and versatile hanging and lighting options: the exhibition space can also be darkened with remote-controlled blackout curtains.
The Gallery has an Optoma LED video projector (connections including microSD, HDMI, USB), 3 Panasonic PTVW340 video projectors (3700 lumens, HDMI, 2xVGA, and S-video connections), 2 Raspberry Pi mediaplayers, 3 Genelec 8020 speakers, 2-channel sound mixer, laser scale as well as the most common tools and accessories for installation.
