Ars-Häme ry is committed to complying with the principles of a safer space. This means instructions on how to be considerate and appreciative of everyone in facilities and events.

In a safer space, everyone can feel welcome and naturally be themselves with all their personal qualities. These include: age, ethnic origin and nationality, language and culture, religion and belief, political views and opinions, family structure, gender and gender identity, sexual orientation, health and disability, social and economic status, other individual characteristics such as skin color, appearance or belonging to the neuro spectrum.

We create a positive and open atmosphere. We take responsibility for our actions and behavior and consider its effects on other people.

We respect everyone’s personal space, privacy and right to self-determination.

Everyone has freedom of opinion, the expression of which is maintained in a polite and also listening and taking into account the views of others atmosphere. Everyone must have the opportunity to participate in the discussion.
