The exhibition is dedicated to my beloved ones, my sister and nephew, who had to leave too early. To Maiju and Vilho.
Nature is a warm embrace to me and its supporting power has shown itself in all its force over the last few months. In the midst of the great sorrow caused by the death of my loved ones, the beauty and stability of the details of nature have been a necessity for me, a fixed point in the fog.
The love for nature has united me and my sister, and we have shared many beautiful moments in fairytale forests, by the sea and in the mountains. My little nephew also enjoyed moments in the woods, and I was honored to introduce the sea to him.
We also shared a love for art with my sister. The pictures are best for me, the words for Maiju. Maiju gave a name to this exhibition and her poems are also a part of it.
Our embrace never breaks.
